First Quarter Review – 2014

For a long time now I’ve intended to do a monthly post review for those who may have missed one or two posts, but I always seem to forget as I rush to get out new content as quickly as I can!  Now it is May I thought I could start with a first quarter review (since I took January off, this list will run down what happened February-April).  Enjoy!

  • Lots of posts about finishing our back steps, including replacing the date linoleum (here, here, and finally here)

brassy lamps - after

  • Our new view/new windows in our upstairs “everything room”

Finishing touches in our new spa-like master bathroom retreat:

Finally getting some art and curtains up in our master bedroom

  • My solution to the chalk mess near our kitchen chalkboard

  • Two posts about planning DH’s new Elfa closet from scratch (here and final reveal here):
  • CIMG4940The addition of three Billy bookcases to our living room

  •  A post about styling the piano in our living room to help it blend in with its surroundings:

  •  The addition of two new art prints (one for the bathroom and another for the back steps)

The first of what I’m sure will be many posts about slowing painting all of the mis-matched doors in our house white:

Whew–seeing all that in one place it really does seem like a lot, even though it has felt like a slow Winter/early Spring.  Now if only I could find the time/courage to start in on that piano bench makeover…
