Now that April is here and the sun is sometimes shining I’m excited to close the books on March and Winter in general. Looking back it definitely feels like we got a fair bit done around here in the last weeks of Winter. Here’s what happened here at the2bedroomblues in March!
I started the month with a DIY tutorial on one of my favorite projects to date–how we did our board and batten wall in the mudroom with just a hand saw, nails, and a hammer:
Then there was a quick post about the first update we tackled in our hall bathroom as we attempt to bring it into this century: a new light fixture.
I then did a full reveal post of our finished board and batten wall and the art and other decor I added to the space:
Next I posted about some re-arranging I did in our living room as I’ve been thinking over ways to better use the space. I’m definitely still mulling things over, but the new arrangement is much more functional and open and we’re loving it!
Next up was a post about finally getting some overhead light in our entryway, which is part of our living room. We found an inexpensive fixture from Home Depot that we love and had it installed when we had an electrician here doing a bunch of other work:
Next up was a very popular post featuring our 90% complete nursery, including the awesome built-in radiator cover/bookcase we had custom-built for the space:
Next up was a very overdue update on progress down in our That 70s basement:
And finally was another post about the basement, including progress on making over an old 80s entertainment center:
See you soon with more updates (unless this baby finally decides to make an appearance…)
